on Linux arch 7.0.10-arch1-1 connection drops

I am on this kernel and my wifi connection just keeps droping right away. I am using i3 and i3satus-rs. on bottom bar, suddenly out of nowhere I see LO Down and no connection. I have to do

nmcli connection up iQ00\ neo\ 10

My wifi connection doesn't even show up when this drop happens, in available list in gui icon at bottom. but it still connects through cli command

This problem was not there before.

Re: on Linux arch 7.0.10-arch1-1 connection drops

Any journalctl log errors? Better post full '(sudo) journalctl -b' log when it happens.

Re: on Linux arch 7.0.10-arch1-1 connection drops

sudo journalctl -b | pastebin
Maximum file size: 50000000 bytes

sudo dmesg -T | tail -2000 | pastebin

sudo dmesg -T | grep 'wlp3s0' | pastebin

I have posted  https://paste.c-net.org/BenjaminExtent, https://paste.c-net.org/AttainWounded

The drops in connection have become more frequent.

Re: on Linux arch 7.0.10-arch1-1 connection drops

I'm seeing this as well after the last upgrade (couple days ago). Same kernel. Connection is stable if I'm very close to the AP, but it frequently drops in another place where it used to work reliably before this update.

=> check "smartctl -a /dev/sda", https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/SMART - if you don't understand the output, a single line that says "passed" or "healthy" actually is insignificant.
The this here is concerning

Despite the massive spam from the failing disk and roaming, maybe this covers multiple boots?

Afaict  the posted … stuff… doesn't even reveal the wireless hardware.

sudo journalctl -b > /tmp/journal.txt
du -h /tmp/journal.txt
zstd /tmp/journal.txt -o /tmp/journal.zst
du -h /tmp/journal.zst

and then upload /tmp/journal.zst somewhere.

@mishoo, please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -s -H "Accept: application/json, */*" --upload-file - 'https://paste.c-net.org/'
