[SOLVED] EPSON ET-2710 printer only printing blank pages

I have tried to use the printer with cups and different ppd sources but it always just printed some incorrect symbols at the side of the paper or it just sent the blank page through without any printing motion. (It works from other devices)

I was also not able to obtain any errors from the printer driver or the printer itself.

I was also not able to install the official package provided by epson itself.

Most .ppd sources don't have a package for my specific printer but it has worked before on fedora.

What can I do now? Where could I find errors or a proper driver package for arch?

Some googling suggests: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/epso … nter-escpr to be the correct package for this, have you already tried that?

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/CUPS#Log_files for how to acquire logs on a certain print operation

This was actually it, thank you. I was not able to find that one from my googling but many other things for different printers so I was kinda confused and not able to find anything more about my specific printer.

It prints correctly now, and I will mark this as solved(how do i actually do that?), thank you very much
