All Chromium-based applications (Discord, Steam) have severely sluggish UI, slow animations, laggy scrolling, delayed clicks. Stream video in Discord appears choppy but I suspect the streams themselves are fine and it's the local rendering that's the issue. Native GNOME apps and the desktop itself run fine. Same hardware runs Discord/Steam perfectly on Windows 11 (dual boot).
Attempted fixes that did not help: launching Discord with --ozone-platform=x11, disabling hardware acceleration in Discord, --disable-gpu-compositing, --enable-gpu-rasterization --enable-zero-copy --ignore-gpu-blocklist, reinstalling Discord via Flatpak, checking __GL_GSYNC_ALLOWED / __GL_VRR_ALLOWED (both unset). Attempted GNOME on Xorg session but Xorg fails to start (flickers and returns to login screen).

This issue affects both Discord (Electron) and Steam (CEF), suggesting it's a general Chromium rendering problem under this Wayland/NVIDIA/mutter combination. Native GTK apps are unaffected. The issue may be recent, I don't remember it happening before, possibly after a driver, kernel, or mutter update.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Don't try to run them w/ the X11 backend and make sure they're not xwayland clients, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Waylan … plications
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=313256 - does it happen w/o the 1.5 scale?
Are those all flatschpaks? Is https://archlinux.org/packages/?name=chromium affected?
