Re: Could not resolve Matrix-synapse dependency error

The "pyasn1-modules" could not be installed
This is my output:
====================
sudo -u synapse python -m synapse.app.homeserver \
      --server-name matrix.example.local \
      --config-path /etc/synapse/homeserver.yaml \
      --generate-config \
      --report-stats=yes
Synapse 1.150.0 needs pyasn1-modules, but it is not installed
Missing Requirements: "pyasn1-modules"
To install run:
    pip install --upgrade --force "pyasn1-modules"

After installation of python-pip and python-pipx the output of [pip install --upgrade --force "pyasn1-modules"] bocomes
===================================================================================================
error: externally-managed-environment

× This environment is externally managed
╰─> To install Python packages system-wide, try 'pacman -S
    python-xyz', where xyz is the package you are trying to
    install.

    If you wish to install a non-Arch-packaged Python package,
    create a virtual environment using 'python -m venv path/to/venv'.
    Then use path/to/venv/bin/python and path/to/venv/bin/pip.

    If you wish to install a non-Arch packaged Python application,
    it may be easiest to use 'pipx install xyz', which will manage a
    virtual environment for you. Make sure you have python-pipx
    installed via pacman.

note: If you believe this is a mistake, please contact your Python installation or OS distribution provider. You can override this, at the risk of breaking your Python installation or OS, by passing --break-system-packages.
hint: See PEP 668 for the detailed specification.

Thanks in advance. Please suggest a solution.

Re: Could not resolve Matrix-synapse dependency error

pacman -S python-pyasn1-modules

most things on arch can be found as an official package or AUR package, try to avoid installing things that arent tracked by pacman

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
